My name is Teresah I have been receiving care from At Home Support Services for the past three years.
Following a stroke that left me with severe weakness to my left side, the team has been supporting me with exercises as advised by Physio. The support has improved my hand dexterity and now I am walking better with less pain.
I certainly feel supported and respected despite my disability.
I now go put with confidence knowing that I am acknowledged and listened to. The organisation staff remains flexible and friendly such that I look forward to my care sessions.

My name is David, I have Dementia and my wife always acts in the best interest of our marriage needs and health needs. Dementia has affected my processing of information, I am always unaware of my actions. I need supervision and guidance at all times

I have been with this care organization, At Home Support Services for the past 11 months. The quality of support has made a significant difference in my life.
The care staff are exceptionally great. I am taken to the park to walk my dog, we attend the local football, and I am always excited to meet my carers. They understand my behavioral challenges and support me to remain safe.
Our care package includes, care breaks that give my wife emotional support, and ability to go out shopping, and Art classes. This has given us respite while we live at home.
I would like to thank Continuing Health Care for arranging a care package that meets my needs with my wife.

My Son has Autism, Epilepsy and Diabetes and required to access community services as he is growing. From the time when the referral was made to this service in July 2023 we were assessed and the care plan for my son commenced July 2023.

Since my son has been receiving support, to access Day centre, and going out to town, I have been able to find more time for my self and my other dependents. This has given me and my son an improved quality of life. My son has also been able to develop more independents and get to know new people.

The family have been introduced to 3 main carers, al of whom have been respectful to myself and my son. My son has non-verbal, which always causes me anxiety when leaving him in the care of people I do not know. My fear was alleviated very quickly, and I am comfortable leaving my son in their care. Despite the communication barriers, attempts are made to communicate with my son by the staff.

I am happy with the service I have received thus far; I am notified of any changes to carers and can see written care notes on Pass the call monitoring system and any concerns are given verbally.
